This web site evolved from the Montrose Underage Drinking/Drug Task Force (UDDTF). Founded in 2003, the UDDTF was a consortium of volunteers from multiple service sectors of the Montrose and Olathe communities. The group focused on a multitude of community projects aimed at keeping local youth healthy. In 2009, federal funding for the program was cut. However, a continued need for prevention and wellness information prevailed. Thus, a private firm took on the task of creating this wellness portal.
